The fourth annual GHS All-School Reunion will be held on Saturday,
Oct 18, 2008 in the boy's gym at GHS. It begins at noon and runs
until 3:00 and it is free. Our reunion committee will visit with
classmates until 1:45 and then go to the auditorium for the program
to honor several distinguished GHS Alumni.

The third GHS All-School reunion will be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 12 noon until 3:30p.m. at GHS.

The GHS Alumni Association is sponsoring the third GHS All-School
Reunion.
Invitations are being mailed to members of the 1935 through 1971
classes and a few
other classes as well. We still do not have class representatives
for every class, but we
continue to add a few more each year. The Richardson Hotel (70
I E. Campbell Road at
Highway 75, Richardson, 1-866-593-6300) will have a few rooms
available for $82.
When making reservations, you must tell them you are attending
the GHS All-School
Reunion to get the reduced rate. The reduced-rate reservations
need to be made by Oct.

Our Distinguished Alumni program will begin at approximately 2:

'56 is the chairman of the committee that will determine which
four alumni will be
honored at this year's awards ceremony.
Former GHS choral director and music teacher, Jim Henderson, and
his former choral
students will provide the music this year. '"
The Mighty Owl Band supporters (parents) will be selling refreshments
again this year,
including grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. If you think you might
want a hot dog or
hamburger, please check the appropriate space on your attendance
confirmation, so they
will know how many Oscar Myers weenies, hamburger patties and
buns to buy.

The All-School reunion went on as scheduled and it was reported to be a lot of fun. We had 5 classmates from our Class of '71 that showed up. They were Brenda (Poovey) Lunsford, Toni (Testa) Murphy, Gerry Cooper, Fred Hood, and Nancy (Wilson) Freitas. Now, there are 5 representatives I would have stand in for me for most anything!! Thanks for going, from us that couldn't make it this year. We'll work on getting you some company next year.
